Thirsty Deer Homeschool Community is run by a veteran homeschooling mama of six out of her home. We endeavour to provide the most meaningful experience for the lowest cost. There is not a profit being made (other than Miss Charlei's music lessons). Every dollar goes directly into creating value in our offerings. There is both a financial cost as well as a volunteer expectation.

Ideally we would have everyone join for the entire year. This fosters the best relationships. We understand that sometimes life dictates circumstances, so we provide the option to register on a term basis. We ask that if you were to pull out that you honour your term commitment financially as associated costs have often been spent in advance to best prepare.

We offer three different payment options:

Monthly (with a term commitment) $45/child

Term $115/child

Annually $320

​

After 2 children, all other siblings are half price.

​

Payable by cash, cheque or e-transfer upon registration.

Volunteer Investment

​

We ask that all families invest their time as well as their finances. Depending on how many families are registered, this could be anything from once a month to once a term helping out. We also ask that parents rotate bringing a bit of fruit to share for snack time. Once a term we have an elective/science experiment day, where parents can sign up to showcase a skill or passion of theirs. If you have a special interest in a project, workshop, sport etc. that you would like to see happen in the community we welcome all extra efforts.
